Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, His Early Life

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, a philanthropist who being a true Rabbi rallied the evangelical support for Israel. The long standing tension among the two groups was almost overcome by the formation of a nonprofit organization, IFCJ by Yechiel Eckstein. After the formation of the IFCJ, through its help almost $ 140 million could be drawn in favor of the projects of the Holy Land and the country as a whole.

The Backbone of IFCJ

After his death in Jerusalem very recently, at an age of 67, the IFCJ reviews went for a toss. The rating and the financial structuring of the whole organization relied on him as the only contributor to the peaceful idea of friendship among the two groups.

He had impacted not only one religion but his relentless efforts to bring the Jews and the Christians together will be felt for generations.

Early Life

For decades he has lend support for a cause, for the people and of the people. 

He was born in Massachusetts. He studied in New York and studied the Orthodox Rabbinic studies and it inspired him to an extent of working towards a national cause. For his work he even travelled worldwide to gather mass base. Uzbekistan and China were the places he travelled most. He even wrote columns and was featured in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times quite a number of times.

He was even one of the leading international Bible teachers helping the Christians to deepen the bonds with Israel and the Jews.

Rabbi Eckstein was also adjudged as one of the 50 most influential rabbis in the US.

Even if he is not present, may he keep inspiring all. Through all his works, may he be in everyone’s heart and the organization IFCJ, may keep doing things just the way when Yechiel Eckstein was heading it.
